@BinaryDigit Oh, that's an interesting thought. Recipe sharing is one of my favorite aspects of being online with other people. Tagging @manton to put it on his radar too.

@BinaryDigit @jean @manton If implemented a little like bookshelves, we could all have our own cookbooks! That would be nice.
@dgs @BinaryDigit @jean @manton I would love this feature! Recipes and food are a great way to connect with others
@jean @binarydigit @manton +100 here. LOL
@Miraz @medievalist @dgs @BinaryDigit @jean @manton no ratings please. no instagrammization of Micro.blog please. LOL
Like Bookshelves - SHARED (for original recipes). To Try (for those from others). Finished (devoured? haha).
@Miraz @Medievalist I would prefer no ratings, it's one of the Micro.blog perks that there is none of that. But perhaps a curated monthly 'cookbook' collection of recipes - the culinary Discover section.
@BinaryDigit I was just thinking about this today as I was posting My Current AeroPress Recipe
I generally hate recipe sites will all of their “fluff” and the “jump to recipe” button.
I’d love to see more recipe-centric blogs here on m.b. With some sort of standard format.
@rom My rating idea was purely my own 'judgement' of the food I cooked. Definitely not for others to rate the recipe.
@dgs I could have been clearer — not interested in others rating a recipe from my shelf; only in what I thought of the recipe on my own shelf. 😀
adding 'recipes' to the never ending list of requests that fall under what I call 'generic bookshelves'.
etc etc
my preference (once more) would not to spend too much time on yet another special case - but develop a way to more readily connect to existing services. #JustSayin
@BinaryDigit I would also love this! A discovery feature or something akin to a bookshelves. I was already hungry but now I’m more hungry.
@brandontreb I've never been that concerned with precise amounts for my morning Americano, and I don't grind fresh, but with your method in mind I tried it this morning. Almost double the amount of coffee I use, and about the same water. You're right. It is delish.
@jeremycherfas oh, I’m so glad your tried and enjoyed it!
You are right though, it’s SO much coffee. Double what I brew in my drip as well.
I would love to find a way to get the same flavors using less coffee.
Makes for a great puck though ;)
@brandontreb If I were halfway organised I'd be saving my pucks to grow Pleurotus mushrooms, but of course I am not.
