For anyone who downloaded their Instagram archive, how big was the .zip file? Mine was 30 MB, but I stopped posting last year and only had a few videos. Wondering if the average size is too big for anything except as a backup.

@manton Oops! I requested the download before I left for Austin, and was planning to wait to download it when I got back home. But the link is only valid for 4 days. I should have read the email! Re-requested.
@manton Mine was about 170 MB which was about 400 photos and a few videos.
@manton There's definitely an opportunity for someone to make an Instagram Archive to Micropub importer desktop app. Point it at your archive, then it'd go make Micropub requests to create posts on your site for all the old photos.
@aaronpk I've been experimenting with that for the Micro.blog for Mac app. We'll see how it goes. Seems like a better fit than web upload because of the file sizes.
@manton Awesome. If you do end up doing that, I would love to see an "Advanced" settings section so that I could put in my own Micropub endpoint details! I still need to import my Instagram photos from before I built OwnYourGram!
@manton My downloaded zip file is just over 80MB. I didn’t post videos and have not used it much in the past year or two.
@manton Using IG since 2011 with 1020 posts. 3 Zip files. 1. JSON files only (66kb) 2. Pics and Vids (413mb) 3. Pics and Vids (18mb)
