@monday Great roll call! (One of my favourite micro.blog features of late, and a great way to read about all the diverse interests of the community!) My microblog adventure started way back with the Kickstarter campaign, and I remember wanting to use the short-form-blogging-format mainly as a way to nudge myself into improving my English writing skills. 800+ posts and numerous global conversations later, I find myself still posting updates regularly! Still English only, but... ik zou inmiddels ook graag meer in het Nederlands schrijven en converseren. Ik twijfel nog of ik daar een aparte blog voor zal optuigen, of er - net als toen - gewoon voor moet gaan, door simpelweg te beginnen op mijn huidige blog. Eventueel met een aparte categorie voor Nederlandstalig proza. Tips zijn welkom!

@monday Norwegian here, and original dialect is Trøndersk. (From the middle of Norway). But I write and speak mostly in Bokmål now that I live in Oslo. (no-NB). I sometimes post in Norwegian, but mainly English. Trying to learn a little German. 🇳🇴

@monday Here on micro.blog I started to write in English earlier this month, but all the previous years I wrote in Dutch on my .nl domain. Today I have migrated my blogpost to my new .com domain and will probably write in both English en in het Nederlands. Verder lees ik ook blogs in het Duits en Frans, hoewel het laatste me iets meer moeite kost. And since the beginning of this year I started an English-Romanian course.

@monday Ich bin noch nicht solange auf MB. Daher habe ich noch nicht so viel geschrieben. Ich möchte auch gern mein Englisch verbessern und poste daher in Englisch. Aber bei manchen Themen fällt es mir auf Deutsch leichter. Ich lese viel mit und fühl mich hier auf MB sehr wohl.
