Ivory and Micro.blog, not yet: manton.org
@manton Thank you - you did save me from asking exactly that question! I completely agree that we should not be aiming for homogeneity. However I would be very happy if micro.blog were to adopt some features of the independent Twitter apps, such as syncing of timeline position.
@manton Yes! I love Micro.blog precisely because of the features it doesn’t have. Thanks for all the thoughtful work you’ve put into Mastodon compatibility.
@manton nice clarifying post, and yes, the founding principles of Mb should not be compromised with. I'm sure developers including Tapbots can work with you to be creative in how to integrate Mb
@manton One note: I do think that as you build more and more #Mastodon/Fediverse compatibility into Micro.blog that you get seen as such by places like fediverse.observer/stats and other simlilar apps that track Fediverse enabled apps.
@manton I love what Micro.blog already is. I love that we can follow federated accounts if we choose. I appreciate very much that this isn't Mastodon.
@manton We, the users of Micro.blog, have come to count on you for taking a cautious approach with extending the platform whose core we love so much. And you always deliver—thank you for this clarification.
@manton Was just coming here to ask the same question. I mostly want the Ivory app so that I can post and consume from the same app.
