@ronguest @vasta I fell victim to reading too quickly when reading your post and completely missed the actual question. So to answer your question, for most articles, I print to PDF then read through once to get the gist of the piece while highlighting interesting sentences or paragraphs. Then I go back over and write notes down for anything that I highlighted. Recently I've been using LiquidText and taking notes in the PDF. Once done, I'll either save it to DEVONthink as a PDF or export the notes as a text file and link both files to each other in DEVONthink while tagging the notes for review. I review my DEVONthink databases on Sunday morning, and I read back through my notes and decide whether this might be a good source for research and tag/move appropriately. Hope that helps!
