Inspired by a fellow Micro.blogger, I don’t remember who it was, I made a Dutch Baby for our Valentines Day breakfast…

@mbkriegh reminds me of Yorkshire Pudding that my mom made growing up, except a gigantic version. Looks delicious.

@mindofaaronw very much like yorkshire pudding. Similar batter. Also like popovers. Again, similar batter.

@mbkriegh Saw this. Thought "that looks like a Yorkshire pudding". Looked up Dutch Baby on Wikipedia and found it is similar to a Yorkshire pudding... but you can make sweet ones... reminded me of being a child growing up in England where we would have Yorkshire pudding with jam as a teatime treat.

@billbennettnz I’ve never made a Yorkshire pudding. That’ll have to be my next challenge!

@mbkriegh There's a variation called "Toad in the hole" which is a large single Yorkshire pudding studded with English-style pork sausages. I wouldn't call it Haute Cusine, but done well it can be enjoyable.
