@ChrisJWilson @jean Good point. If we were still sending weekly newsletter emails, that would've been a great place for it. When we have the official announcement with times and other info, an email makes a lot of sense.
@jean I'm really glad to hear it wasn't viewed that way. I wanted to make sure as I know I can adopt very direct Polish communication styles and the internet isn't great for transmitting nor receiving the spirit of the message. I know I've missed announcements over challenges before and then suddenly realised one was going on. Once again thanks both (@jean @manton ) for the great job you do. The virtual Micro camp sounds very cool! Can we make s’mores?
@ChrisJWilson When my son was in seminary two of his fellow seminarians were from Lebanon & Palestine. One day he heard them having what he thought was a heated argument in Arabic, then found they were just having a conversation. To understand a language & culture we have to learn the rules of tone & expression, not just formal content.
@jean Yay! I'm looking forward to this one, it sounds great. Went to the survey, but I'm unable to fill it, I have absolutely no idea what I'll be doing, and at what time, for those dates at the moment. Glad @ChrisJWilson mentioned email, it would be great to get one regarding the event, when all is settled. I too fear I might miss the announcement...
@jean ohh this sounds interesting. Please can there be a way to listen again, if sessions are missed.
@maique It’s not a commitment, just an idea of the hours that work for you in your time zone. That way we can cover a variety of times for live sessions that can work for people around the world. Your input will be valuable!
