@jean Yay! I'm looking forward to it. Some great words in the first week. I encourage everyone to participate; it's lots of fun.
@jean Have a suggestion - how about having a shared calendar with these challenges penciled in? :)
@rom That’s an excellent suggestion! Which calendaring service should I use? (Because my reflex action is to open up Google... 😑)
@brid.gy @jean @khurtwilliams Something triggers Bridgy to send webmentions when there is a link to my blog post about the February photo challenge. I’ve gotten a few from different accounts, and now yours.
@jean Those are tweets from my thread on Twitter cross-posted from https://jeroensangers.com/2021/02/05/day-pets-may.html
@jean interesting. I'm not linking to the February photo challenge from anywhere except Micro.blog but it looks like brid.gy is pulling in content from Twitter. Let me disable brid.gy and see what happens.
@jean I checked and my micro.blog isn’t connected to brid.by. I’m not sure what’s going on.
@jeroensangers I don’t think that is the issue. I’ve had brid.gy and Twitter linked to my Wordpress for a few years and this is the first time I’ve seen this happen via a micro.blog post. Let’s see what @manton discovers.
@jean here's what I found: https://brid.gy/log?start_time=1613030226&key=agdicmlkLWd5cjYLEghSZXNwb25zZSIodGFnOnR3aXR0ZXIuY29tLDIwMTM6MTM1OTcxMDg3MTI2MjM4NDEzMgw
@khurtwilliams @jean @jeroensangers Micro.blog has special support for ignoring some Brid.gy mentions that can't be displayed, so I have a feeling something changed... I'm looking into it and will try to clear things up. Thanks!
