I really hope micro.blog soon allows us to create blog posts that don’t show up on the timeline. The inability to do this is the #1 reason I don’t blog more. Paradoxically I would post more items to the timeline if this feature existed plus my posted content would be more diverse.

@ronguest I’ve figured out a solution for this when using Blot. But by default, all my microblog posts are for the timeline

@ronguest I've heard that feedback and get it. Instead of having that as a normal feature (which could be really confusing), I think the best solution is to use categories. I need to fix the RSS template for categories and then it will be possible.

@simonwoods @manton @ronguest This is cool and exactly how I set it up on Blot. Except I assign a tag to the posts I want to share.

BTW does Micro.blog remember the last setting you used to post?
