@burk Are any of the science tagmojis active? I’m planning on writing some posts with some science content and want to tag it right… 🔭

@tgray not currently.. but definitely tag away for future search! Out of curiosity, what tags do you think fit best?

@Burk @tgray @manton (We need a few more emojitags so that the sports emoji are balanced out.)

@macgenie @tgray @Burk I think the emoji are most successful when they come from what people are already using. So definitely pick one you like and try it! The suggestions on this page for science seem good, though.

@macgenie @Burk @tgray I’m pretty sure @denny would like to see more posts that are tagged with 🔭 specifically (even if Apple refuses to suggest it for those words) ;-)

@macgenie That’s odd. Telescope does suggest 🔭. But good suggestion on the iOS suggestions. 🔬 it is. Oddly the four emoji that are suggested for ‘science’ are chemistry or biology centric. Makes me feel left out :)

@macgenie Exactly. And some relevant posts too.

@mdhughes I will be using 🚀 and 🛰 for space. I think 🚀 is already functional.

@Burk There a few good ones now. iOS suggests 4: 🧪🧫🧬🔬. I think I like the DNA one the most as an idea but maybe the microscrope is a more recognizable icon. Personally, I think an atom would be the best but the atom emoji kinda stinks: ⚛️

@smokey @macgenie @Burk @tgray Oh, great conversation! Yeah, any science related tagging would be fantastic and of course the 🔭 would be great for space or astronomy specificially. 🤓
