@colinwalker I saw SW:TLJ last night, and I think your perspective on this movie is spot on.

I loved it, and really enjoyed the experience.

I think I was 7 when the original came out, so Str Wars has been with me my whole movie-going life. This a great one.

@desparoz I was 6 for EP IV so know that feeling of having it there your whole life. It’s a marvel that something has been able to stick with people for so long.

@colinwalker It is amazing to me that the basic story line is so timeless. And some of the characters, particularly R2D2, C3PO and Chewie also transcend time.

@colinwalker The one character I thought they could have done more with was Captain Phasma - Gwendonline Christie’s character. Expected they would do so much more with her, and that she would be there until Ep IX

@desparoz Just goes to show that Lucas got it right when channelling the Hero’s Journey. Using an archetypal myth structure is what makes it so appealing.

@adamprocter Cool. I avoided just about everything I could. Didn’t even watch the main trailers.

@colinwalker I think this is a really good take on things for those who've seen the film. I saw it and loved it. Hoping to see it a couple of more times in the theater before it's done.
