Oh No …
Now what?
Any recommendations for a Mac clipboard history utility/app?
My go to 'Clipboard History' seems to have been discontinued - and I can't find an old install anywhere.
SetApp has something called 'Paste' - so trying that for now ... but it's going to be hard on my muscle memory.
@JohnPhilpin I use Alfred’s Clipboard as well. I also have the multi-talented Parallels Toolbox which has a clipboard manager too. Both apps are great.
@JohnPhilpin I've been using Pastebot for a very long time. It has all kinds of options I don't actually take advantage of.
Thankyou all - more to come.
@JohnPhilpin Check out OmniCopy. It syncs using Dropbox with iOS and Android apps, though most of the time I use it independently for my Mac. It's a labor of love, has history of 30 items, and don't secure passwords. But it's so simple!
The other I sometimes use is Clipsy. It's can remember like 9999 items and has a global hotkey search. But doesn't have the ease of OmniCopy or the cross-device functionality of it.
Halfway through this response I realized that you're looking for something that definitely works on whatever the latest OSX is. So... Sorry if these don't fit the bill.
@JohnPhilpin @Miraz Pasrebot used to have an iOS app that synced with the desktop app. Shame they discontinued the iOS app.
@josephaleo just found that - just been looking and it would be good to have an iOS synch option.
@JohnPhilpin I loved that iOS app. Would you please let me know what clipboard app you end up purchasing?
@JohnPhilpin Well, looks like I bought it 5 years ago and I use it many times each day so I think I've got my money's worth…
@pratik Pastebot does seem to be winning ... but so far I am trying 'Paste' - part of the SetApp world ... not sure about it yet - and no iOS is a bummer - particularly with the heritage of Tapbots.
@josephaleo since I am already a SetApp user - I am for now trying out 'Paste' - not on iOS - but so far haven't really found anything I like that sits in both worlds.
@JohnPhilpin I also uso Paste and love it. I also have tried Pastebot, but did not find any benefits over Paste, so I sticker with the tool that was included in Setapp.
@JohnPhilpin I've tried a few, but find that the one that is built in to Alfred (Power Pack required) is the best for me.
