Some more waves. This time in Waihe‘e Coastal Dunes & Wetlands Refuge which is managed by the Hawai’i Land Trust. I find it a special area, little known about, steeped in Hawaiian history and with the largest sand dunes in Maui.

@crossingthethreshold Beautiful. I would love to visit there. I am coming to Maui next month, but unfortunately, I won't be on that side.
@xxxx I don't how you will be doing for time or where you will be, but just to say that Waihe'e is at most probably no more than 45 minutes to an hour from most places where people stay.
@crossingthethreshold I will be coming from Honolulu with a school choir trip performing at various places over the weekend. I have been as a chaperone multiple times, but I need to get to Maui on my own sometime and explore.
@jean that’s a new hashtag right there: #pacificwavewednesday. So many to choose from!
@xxxx That sounds like a wonderful event. My own explorations of the other islands is quite minimal, and should be improved upon.
