We launched two new related features around replies: you can now curate other people’s replies to hide them from showing up on your own blog, and there’s a reply text box so that other people can reply on your blog without a Micro.blog account. Enable it on the Design page.

@news I think I'd like this feature, but totally reversed. I want to default to hiding all comments, and then I can choose to "promote" a comment onto my blog. Thus far, I have excluded comments and webmentions because of my feeling "my content on my blog"-- but I love the idea that if someone wrote a great comment (or used webmentions and wrote a great blog post) that I could "promote" it onto my page.

@jsonbecker @manton That's a good idea. Perhaps something along the lines of 'show/hide all' by default and then you promote/hide select ones.

@jsonbecker +1 that’s the main reason I never enabled comments on my blog (before resetting the blog, because now it’s pretty much empty anyway).

@news absolutely love this new feature! Turned it on right away. Nice to give people more options to comment. FYI, I'd love to have the ability to just allow people to comment without signing in via another platform.

Also, where do we go to moderate? Doesn't look like that is on the Design page. Is it the Replies page? Is it the Mentions page? Is it on the post itself on my blog? (This doesn't seem to be in the announcement or the help page.)
