I've tweaked my "support me" page to also add direct support via Stripe. So you can donate in EUR, USD or GBP for any amount you prefer without a third-party 🤪. 1% will go to make things better on the blue marble of hotness.

@vincent Maybe it's just me? But I checked a few other Stripe Payment Links, and Apple Pay showed up on them. Paying with a card worked fine, though. 😊

@pratik Thank you for trying! Seen it as declined, even though it shouldn't have been foeign hehe. I've been in touch with Stripe about Apple Pay, and it looks like it won't work because I have to calculate tax (if applicable) beforehand 🙄 And that's not supported via Apple/Google Pay.

@sod The case has been solved. Apple & Google Pay won't work because I have to calculate tax for EU based residents, and that disables it, because it has know before you enter details. Thank you accounting rules 😭

@vincent This is definitely not my area of expertise, but are you sure you need to charge VAT when there's no exchange of neither goods nor services? It's a donation. I freely give my internet friend some monies and expect nothing in return. 😊

@sod It's complicated, because I am bound by Polish tax laws. Guess I need to ask my accountant and he'll just tell me I need to do it. Doesn't help I am VAT registered = more complicated and more regulations.

@pratik It showing up as not gone through, as you said initially. I can't see another charge. In good news, Apple Pay is now enabled 🥳 If the charge did look to go through, let me know, and I'll email you so we can check what has happened.
