@uliwitness It's intentional. I think keeping favorites private has encouraged people to reply to posts more often. However, there have been a couple discussions about providing another way for feedback, maybe similar to Slack reactions. Hope to experiment with that soon.
@simon Thanks. I've followed what they've done closely. I really like the "boost" implementation they came up with in Basecamp.

@manton Yeah, reactions would work as well. Although then you'd get into problems like on Twitch, where they had an advertising tie-in with a chicken roaster and apparently chicken is also a racist slur.
But would be great to be able to react with things like happy/shocked/sad/thumbs up/thumbs down, and maybe numbers (for polls).
@uliwitness Come to think of it, even "thumbs down" should probably not be in there.
