@thomasrost I did the same a while ago. You can easily move your followers, but that’s no way to use a Mastodon-compatible app with your Micro.blog account. Your choices are the official app and the alternatives created by the community.
You have to also keep in mind that there are many features @manton choose not to add to Micro.blog, like re-posts, likes, visible number of followers and others.
I still miss some of these engagement features and metrics, and I hope Manton rethinks his approach to them in the future. That said, I do like the fact that I have a single identity.
@thomasrost PS.: That’s another reason I wanted to have a single identity. Cross-posting to different ActivityPub accounts was creating confusion.
