Got my approval email for the ARM dev kit. I was starting to wonder, but I guess they have plenty to go around. Also settling in to Big Sur on the new MacBook Pro.
@manton I was disappointed to see that it’s a one-year lease. (I understand why they want to structure it this way, but it’s still disappointing.)

@the Yeah, it’s pretty much the same approach they had with the Intel transition. They can't support these the same way they will for "real" Macs.
@aaronpk They call it a “cost”, not a “deposit”, so I don’t think it will be refunded (although, pure speculation here, I suppose they might credit it toward a production machine at the end of the program).
