“The only people who can betray us are the ones that we trust.”

Whoa! That is deep.

@Parag But upon giving it a second thought makes sense, no? How can someone you don't trust betray you?

@pratik Yes, exactly! It is kinda obvious but, it seems impactful when put in words like this.

Sadly, the internet is full of banality packaged as insight. One of the threads running through Chris Lockhead’s talks a lot about this. Made even better when you hear him say the words rather than ‘just’ you reading them.

@mbkriegh Binged the show in the last 4-5 days. Wasn't sure if I should watch more after the first episode but, glad I continued.

@Parag I find most new series require two to three episodes to connect these days. The last time I was hooked from the start was News Room which had a killer opening scene and a completely compelling first season.

@pratik somehow I just couldn’t get into Succession. I watched more than 5 episodes from season 1 but I just don’t like it. @supremus

@Parag we’ve been enjoying Shrinking on Apple and are anxiously awaiting the third season of Ted Lasso. How about you?

@mbkriegh We are waiting for Ted Lasso as well ad want to watch Shrinking. The trailer looks quite good. A show that I recently enjoyed watching was "only murders in the building" S2.

@Parag I just finished Slow Horses last night, it was great! Gary Oldman can sure be hilarious and gross and somber all at the same time.

@Parag we just finished the first season of UnCoupled, Netflix. Very well done. Centered on a gay couple and in the gay world. Heterosexual characters are peripheral. I don’t think I have ever seen that before. So used to the other way around.
