Carlos Ezquerra 1947-2018 2000 AD

2000 AD is profoundly saddened to confirm that artist Carlos Ezquerra has passed away at the age of 70.

Very sad news. Carlos Ezquerra’s art style defined 2000 AD in my mind.

@stefp Totally agree. His style was timeless and worked exceptionally well with what 2000AD was aiming for.

@Cassinato I started reading it again on my iPad and it’s still very good. Ezquerra was still drawing stories too. Dredd just seems like the perfect character to satirise these times.
