I actually think Steve Wozniak and Steve Jobs are/ would be disappointed with current Apple. Let’s see if WWDC 2024 changes that…
@adamprocter I still use and like Apple things but I have no illusion about them being the "good guys" anymore. I don't expect anything to change either.
@adamprocter Woz for sure. He's said as much many times but I also think he disliked a lot of Steve's vision. I really wonder about Jobs. I think he'd hate some of the user hostile actions, the large number of ads, but perhaps that's my dream of Steve rather than actual Steve. I wonder what he would make of the vision pro? I think he might be onboard, but I don't think he'd view it as a phone replacement/perma-use device.
@stefp yeah I’m so stuck in the apple eco system now that moving would be so disruptive it’s not worth the pains for sure - depressing mind
