@jean For some reason, photos aren't coming across on my feed here...

@starrwulfe Hey Jason, I noticed that too. Tagging @help so Manton can have a look. He’ll be able to figure it out.

@starrwulfe hey @manton, let me know what I need to do on my end to get it working correctly… could be an issue with my feeds and had they’re set up?

@starrwulfe It looks like the connection from Micro.blog to download your image is timing out. I can load the image myself in a browser, but from our servers it is not working. Any chance there's some security feature that is disabling some connections?

@help hmm, it’s happening across the board, with Bridgy as well. There shouldn’t be any security issues that would affect the ability to load images I would thing

I’ve been tweaking the some settings and a little underlying code in my CMS but nothing that could affect this…

@jlelse & @kandr3s, your thoughts on this?

@help I had the same issue last night but it seems to be fine now. That almost certainly doesn’t help you at all, but ignoring it seems to have worked for me. 😃

@dwalbert Let me try again with a picture post; it’s frustrating because i want to participate in #mbmar photo challenge and am kinda dead in the water right now 😞

@help @jean @dwalbert @jlelse @kandr3s Looks like I got it cleared up. The issue was with Cloudflare handling my DNS and adding an extra SSL layer on top of the one I already have coming from my blog. This causes some kind of strange loop when doing a separate websocket connection to get the actual picture off the server and show it. Not an issue for web browsers as they're generally using the same connection at the same time to grab HTML to render the page, but hell for standalones like feed readers, web workers and others who just want to grab the media off the sever and that's it. I mitigated it by just turning "Enable Cloudflare SSH Everywhere" because I already have a LetsEncrypt script doing that in my server.
