@Manton what am I doing wrong with my posts, how do I turn my links into hyperlinks in a self-hosted micro-blog?

@mrkrndvs Micro.blog doesn't auto-link URLs for self-hosted WordPress, so you should add the links yourself. That way they look correct on your web site too. Also see this help page for mentions.

@mrkrndvs I wrote this that can auto-link @-name mentions for you.

There’s probably actually something similar for hyperlinks out there, too, but I think everyone typically constructs hyperlinks themselves, either by hand or using the Link button on the WP editor toolbar.

@smokey thank you for that. I thought I tested both HTML and Markdown, but obviously I didn't. Still learning this new space.

@manton something is still wrong with my self-hosted as the HTML is showing through on my site collect.readwriterespond.com/microcast... but not in Micro.Blog

@mrkrndvs There's no HTML in your RSS feed. Maybe a setting or plugin that is putting the text version in the feed?

@manton FYI ... Got advised to add your JSON Feed plugin. Working perfectly now, thank you for your patience. Not sure why the RSS isn't working, but it does not matter
