@liss I know this is an old post but I am here. It's kind of weird as I don't see too many faces like mine here. I think if there are PoC on here I can't find them.

@tiffany I’m not going to claim that the numbers are good—the numbers are not good for anything other than white men, though there is slow improvement in some areas—but there are PoC here.
As many of us have been discussing in various Conversations this week, discovery outside of common interests (tech, music, sports, pens & paper ;-) ) is still difficult here, and it’s not yet clear how to improve that significantly without replicating the problems of other social networks :-( If people don’t self-identify in their profile descriptions or photos, it’s difficult to find them because there’s not a large or active sub-community already, which doesn’t exist because it’s hard to guess identity (or interests)…vicious cycle :-(
That said, let me make a couple of introductions for you off the top of my head: @dustdaughter, @patrickrhone, @vasta, also @DiplomaticDiva and @garciabuxton (both quiet here the past few months, and dearly missed). Hopefully some other members will either say hello or be able to point you to people I’m not thinking of off the top of my head.

@tiffany I see (and follow) you now. Thanks for bringing us into greater attention here.
@tiffany I'm glad you're here and look forward to your posts.
I wrote this in February 2018: Diversity and Inclusion at Micro.blog: Where We Are, Where We Want to Go. I think we are doing better, but we have a long way to go.
@tiffany I'm gonna follow up Smokey's list: @mandaris, @kaa, @amit, @kimonostereo, @oyam, @kjaymiller, @unoabraham, @jpurnell, @muan, @ishabazz, @sergio\_101, @vishae, @emmessenn, @lankeami, @ronbronson, @skinnylatte, @elizabeths.
