It was so much fun to talk about blogging and social media with @manton and my longtime pal Christina Warren to kick off this year’s Micro Camp. The video of the livestream has now been posted.

@jean This was such an interesting conversation! I've always struggled with how you have to fracture your interests across multiple social media communities. And thats part of the reason I'm so excited about micro.blog. Sorting my posts into writing and photography and thoughts and podcast episodes on my page makes it feel like I can put all the parts of me into my feed.

Also fascinated by the question of how long the newslettering trend is going to stick around! I've been in the throws of unsubscribing from all the mailing lists so that the newsletters I actually want to read aren't buried. But there's no changing the fact that they're going to show up alongside my credit card statements and phone bills. (And I don't really want to create an email just for reading newsletters!)
