Had to go to the doctor for checkup, apparently I’m fine. So yay.

Celebrated with Kimberly at Antiposto’s. Had my favorite beer, Pliny the Elder. Food’s freakin amazing and had a drink while there. Yum x100.

Got a case of Pliny’s for me & the friends this weekend.

@samleegray @jean @manton I added 4 photos to this post, but seems like only 1 is shown. Same with all the cross posts. This isn’t the first time either, is something up with multiple photos that I’m missing? :/ Troublesome and makes the posts less useful…

@samleegray Did you add the photos all at once, or add the extra photos after first posting it? Not aware of any bugs quite like that.

@samleegray @jean @manton Actually it hasn’t even cross posted…Something definitely doesn’t seem right with multi-photo posts. If not reliable I just can’t keep using the service :/ I’d rather just copy-paste to ensure accuracy.

@manton all at once in the initial post. Perhaps I should begin taking screenshots of each step? Happy to help if possible.

@samleegray Oh, I think I know what this is... I bet it will update to fix itself before cross-posting, and everything should be correct in the cross-post too. If it doesn't update soon, let me know.

@manton ah, yep, you’re 100% right. As soon as I saw it cross-post, all 4 photos showed up in them. Then I checked back here, and all 4 appeared. Was just weird I guess not seeing the 4 in the original source post right away. Guess I need to learn a bit more patience. :) Thanks!

@manton I would suggest some sort of notice about this though - as I can easily see “normal” users seeing this and being weirded out. Maybe just some sort of “posted but not 100% just yet, we’re getting there”. Or some kinda before hand warning. Perhaps I missed this though.

@samleegray There should be a message after publishing, to show that the post is being processed and your site is updating. It's a blue bubble with an indication of loading:

I'm unsure if it exists on iOS or Android.

@samleegray You’re right, I’ll improve this. I think I can eliminate the problem so everything shows up correctly right away.

@manton Wow, that’s awesome. This is just so nice to be able to reach out about things like this. Not something I’m used to on any service. Kudos to you. :) Have a great day!

Let me know if I can help test anything for ya, happy to help.

@SimonWoods aaahhh, I see! Didn’t realize this either. I was using the iOS app, so that’s probably why. Thanks for the info!

@samleegray Sorry to hear about this frustration! I'll let @manton chime in on this, because it's not a technical problem I'm aware of.

@manton could this be related to the issues I've had several times with images not showing up when subscribing to the mastodon account? See social.lol/@muhh/109... for an example.

This might explain why it doesn't change there since the Mastodon server seems to cache the images. Except one where it seems to fail during the fetch and then only hosts a 1px image.

@muhh That sounds like something else. Micro.blog can return a 1px image in some cases if there are errors... That is really unfortunate that it seems permanently cached on the Mastodon side. If it happens again, can you let me know?
