@manton I like the simplified approach. And no issues with my first post using the beta.

@manton I know you’re juggling multiple priorities with the U/I, particularly with the desire to simplify & streamline posting. One thing I’m missing from the previous version of Sunlit is the Stories view of my own posts (at least those made from that particular device). Apart from @cleverdevil's microgram extension, Stories was the only place Micro.blog offered where I could see a large number of my own photo posts in one place. I appreciated having a summary view where I could review my uploads and fix a typo or broken link on a new post, or delete a photo if necessary. It doesn't look like I can edit & upload changes from within the app anymore, which I thought was a pretty great feature. Unless I'm mistaken, I'd have to exit Sunlit, open a browser, and fix or delete the post via the web.

@schuth Thanks, this is a priority to bring back. We really need editing in all the apps, actually.

@manton That’d be fantastic to have in the other apps, too. Thank you for all the time, thought, & effort you put into these things.

@manton I'm a big fan of the simplified approach. One thing I preferred with the previous version was being able to put the title/caption below the photo (I think it was called the description vs. title). Not the biggest deal as I could go into my WordPress admin after posting and move the caption, but just adds friction to what was there previously.

@chrispederick Good feedback, thanks. I wanted it to be more consistent with Micro.blog's default, but we could provide an option. (Or allow editing of the HTML templates which Sunlit uses to format posts.)

@manton Yup, totally makes sense and the right call for simplification for sure. I'd love to be able to edit the HTML template somehow as I also have written some custom WordPress code to adjust what is saved, but it's harder to move the caption around that way. An option would be a nice middle ground - I actually looked in the settings to see if I could toggle it somehow. However, I totally accept that this is more of a niche request.

@manton You know, I really really really really shouldn't be using a beta on my only iOS device... really. 🙈
