@help Can we please have a Text Size setting in the iPad like we do in the Mac app? Currently the default size is for that of the generation the follows Gen Z.

@pratik I would love to have that setting for the iOS app. I have increased the text size in iOS to be able to read my screen without glasses, and the Micro.blog app inflates that size even further. Often I can’t even fit a single post on screen.

@jeroensangers Yup. Right now, the only way is to increase the system setting size so it's basically, Boomer in other apps and Gen Z in Micro.blog 😐

@pratik @jeroensangers You should be able to see the text size on a per-app basis on newer versions of iOS, does this not work properly for Micro.blog?

@AngeloStavrow @jeroensangers Wow! Never knew this existed. This works perfectly for this purpose. Yet I think if Mb has a setting on the Mac, then it should have it on the iOS apps and not put the burden of accessibility on users.

@pratik I hear that. Historically, I think you see that kind of option on a Mac app because macOS has no concept of Dynamic Type, which iOS uses to scale text based on a user’s accessibility settings.

(I could be wrong about that, though.)

@AngeloStavrow I did not know that feature. However, it won’t solve my issue. First, because I’m used to switching text sizes through the day through my focus modes. (I use the Work mode when working in my computer with my reading glasses on and the Leisure mode for when I’m walking around without my reading glasses) The second issue are the huge differences in text size within Micro.blog: the timeline is displayed way bigger than my list of posts.
