Pretty nice morning for forest bathing. Hiked almost 5 miles and came across only 1 person. Had the whole forest to myself for rest of the time.

@parag Nice. I have recently been introduced to forest bathing. I was intentionally looking for more ways to be outdoors, and was searching for outdoor tai chi classes. Somehow that returned a listing for guided forest bathing sessions in Portland's Arboretum (which is a forest itself) and it's been very beneficial!

@parag "Forest bathing" Have never heard of that term. Sounds so perfect for what it is.

@jean I read about forest bathing a couple of years ago and the idea really clicked with me. I used to seek out wilderness only to hike in the mountains but with this idea of forest bathing, I have discovered that even a stroll on a wooded trail is immensely enjoyable. @pratik

@parag Yes, it makes me more interested in small outings. I like longer hikes too, but I can pop into a forest in Portland (we are blessed with these forest parks in several parts of town), for a short forest bathing session.

@jean it rained mostly the week I was around last month, but I did get in a fairly decent session at the Arboretum one day. Lovely!
