@vincent Could be fun to name that app. 🙂 That is basically how I use Twitter. I don’t follow anyone and don’t read the timeline. Just check mentions sometimes.

@vincent 👋 How about adding preferences (even command line ones) to the Mac app to turn off Timeline, Bookmarks, and Discover? Call it Focus Mode.
@vincent I’m interested in the opposite. Timeline sans the mentions. And (optional) an indication if a post has mentions. Then swipe/tap to reveal the mentions.
@vincent people are clearly excited - but I guess I am missing what it would do for me that the mentions tab in all the apps already does?

@vincent aah - so a software version of replacing your smart phone with a real camera, a phone only phone, a remarkable tablet ….
I definitely fall into the camp of minimizing distraction - but my use case is microblog or no microblog.

@vincent “Imbound” is a nice matchup. But I love the idea of “Inbound” or something that plays off the idea. Airplane silhouette for the icon maybe?
