I’ve been trying to catch up with the Micro Camp sessions I missed. It’s been a bit painful because the video often stops and the only way to get past it is to reload and manually skip ahead. Is that vi.to problem?

@ronguest @manton @jean shoot, it’s doing on the uploaded videos as well? We had a few issues of this kind of thing when they were live.. didn’t expect it to the case for VOD too.

@Burk It happened on two so far. One was the Sketchnote VOD and I am not sure which was the other. Probably building apps for Micro.blog. I had to manually skip ahead 3 times on Sketchnote and I think I gave up on the developer one.

@Burk Was on Kimberly Hersh’s video too. First thought it was connection issues at my end.

@simonwoods @pratik @ronguest @burk I experienced this as well and agree that it seems to be coming from Vi.to as Kimberly’s video stopped there but not watching it linked on her blog.

@Burk Can these not be moved to some place where they are more openly available? And linked to?

@amit @Burk Not only openly available, but also served with a CDN, otherwise the same stuttering will appear. YouTube comes to mind, or Vimeo.
