Never thought I was a book weight person but I love this thing.

@Brad Beautiful. Details? Perhaps a blog post about it?

@patrickrhone @brad ... oh. How did I not know about this.

@SimonWoods Levenger has had a book weight on offer for years but I love the look of that wood one @brad has and am tempted to get a piece of nice wood and make my own.

@patrickrhone That’s a Curiously Heavy Book Weight from Good Made Better. It’s very high on my purchase list once I’m done with my self-inflicted pay cut next year. Perfect for taking notes from library books…

@dgreene196 Ooh! Thanks for the pointer.

@dgreene196 Oh, but then there's also The Bookfellow. Jeepers, this is going to be dangerous.

@patrickrhone @SimonWoods @brad What a cool idea!

@Brad I’ve sometimes thought about trying to get a book snake, like I used in the British Library years ago, but this looks as if it might be better, and easier to find.

@patrickrhone Definitely some fun maker-produced desk tools. Or kitchen accessories, as many recipe books don’t hold themselves open.

@patrickrhone @jabel @brad Oh that Levenger is nice. There are some pretty hefty, attractive leather bookmarks on Etsy that look like they could also serve this purpose. However, the blocks have this sense of... substance? Even in the pictures.

@patrickrhone For sure! This one is from Good Made Better and I’ll work on a review. Sarah got a portable one too which fascinates me. I’ll see if she will review that one as well.
