The brand new One Page feature for Micro.blog is pretty fucking sweet.
What's less sweet is that I found out by randomly checking the News blog. For some reason the post still doesn't appear in my timeline on the Mac.
As far as I know I don't have any setting that stops truncated posts from appearing or anything like that.
@SimonWoods I think because everyone follows @news, there can be a delay before it's in everyone's timeline. Need to speed this up.
@SimonWoods @vincent Should be the same on the web and iOS, so probably just random luck when you refreshed the page.
@SimonWoods @manton “Prepare to enter … the scary door…” 🎵 Twighlight Zone jingle
Web version uses a slightly different mechanism than the “hybrid” iOS and Mac views. But shouldn’t make a difference as it “should” be the same data 😋
@SimonWoods oh! was this the big new feature @manton was referring to? I want to know it all: will plugins works? markdown supported? Tinylitics will work fine? Besides the lack of posts, what’s missing? can we have pages?
@numericcitizen I'd be surprised if this was the big feature. This idea was mentioned on the Help forums after Manton had started talking about the big feature, which I assume will involve an announcement from Manton when they launch.
@numericcitizen yep. You can have pages! I just tested it.
@numericcitizen @SimonWoods This isn't the big news! The big news is still coming later. 🙂 But "yes" to all those questions. Pages, themes, and everything else will work. Just no normal date-based blog posts.
