Micro.blog does not show follower counts. It doesn’t tell you when somebody follows you. It has no concept of a like or favorite. There are definite benefits to this system. @MitchW Although I don’t often reply to your posts, I always welcome them, because they are often funny, informative or infuriating (not because of what you say, but because of the injustice that you talk about). The lighter posts is what I am most looking forward to though, and I hope you’ll keep posting them here, although Mastodon or RSS is also fine, but I’m afraid that they might drown in the masses over there.
