Great to see Ghost building its new recommendations feature on open standards: it’s basically Webmentions under the hood.
I was one of the test group - and it’s great to see it out there.

@adders Wow, this is really interesting. Honestly I'm surprised because Ghost seemed set on their own private API at first... Maybe Micropub can happen later. 🙂
@manton There’s an active and long-running thread about it on the Ideas section of the Ghost forum, but no word from the core team on it yet.
@adders Thanks for the link, that is indeed long-running! Looks like some good stuff in there. I’m tempted to adopt something like their Recommendations. It’s essentially a blogroll.
@adders oh! That's cool. Tried something like adding my blog into the recommendations and got this in return... weird. go.numericcitizen.me/7WF52KFP

@numericcitizen Some of the themes use that “follow me” as the description. Probably something we should change.
@numericcitizen Can you send me the link you were using in that screenshot? Having trouble duplicating.
@numericcitizen @manton That line appears to be injected into your site from another plugin (or perhaps manually). Are you using anything that adds meta tags to your site other than Tiny Theme?
@Mtt I’ll try removing it and do some testing and let you know.
@Mtt that was it! I'm not sure if, by removing this plugin, I lost some features though... cc @jthingelstad
