No one cares… for now: manton.org
@manton You must have been reading my mind. I wrote about this very topic just a couple of weeks ago. I think we all feel this way at one time or another. Now get out of my head! 😆
@mlm361 Oh cool, I'll have to go back and find your post. I think I've written this same thing a few times… Mostly a note to myself. 🙂
@manton After all: Blog comes from the term web-log and was initially mostly a public diary of sorts – written by the author for the author and not with intent of garnering a huge following or a lot of reads
@manton This actually reminds me of one reason that I like Micro.blog: without the Meta or X algorithms I know I'm writing into the void! There's no nagging feeling that more people would see and comment on my posts if only the Algorithm wasn't so unfair.
@manton exact sentiment here. I wrote a long piece about security and privacy protection on Apple devices and … it seems no one actually care… crickets 🦗
@manton The same of true of links you might share. You think "here's something everyone should read that will make a difference in how they perceive an issue." Whether they do or not I never know.
@manton it's true. i do read some sites every time they publish, but not many. i tend to read your posts, you're in my blogroll and when i see you've updated i always click.
i also follow the archive of the json feed repo, esp in the last few days.
@manton Sometimes I write to understand better. This might not resonate with others, but for me, it is a very special moment when I learn something I didn't know before.
