Decided to subscribe to The Atlantic. There’s a certain kind of story that I miss from the NYT and WaPo after cancelling both those subscriptions last year. I still don’t want to obsess with the news, but when I dip my toes in, I want the coverage to be good.
@manton not that you need my validation, but I think that’s a sound decision. I did the same a few years back and I continue to be happy with the decision.

@manton There is some good reporting and excellent editing, but like with any other publication, you gotta keep your thinking cap on when reading it. Pedigree isn’t a good enough filter these days, if it ever was.
@manton I'm already paying via Apple News+, but I'm thinking of subscribing directly as well. Always loved their writing.
