@manton does this also means you can add images wiring iA and they will get uploaded and published too?
@manton for personal micropublish end points, iAWriter isn't asking for scopes. Who / where is the best place to talk to the team there?
@manton glad to see this development! Iβm a Ulysses user, have been for years, but it might be a good time to make the switch.
@Gabz Yes! iA Writer will upload the photos when sending the post and include them in the post HTML.
@manton Yup, I can confirm π , Been testing all day. The only weird thing I notice is that it assumes the first line is the title which is fine but then it will also include the title in the body-- and as I am typing this it occurred to me that iA Writer assumes the name of the text file is the title and then the first line treats it as another heather?
@boris Scope is optional in IndieAuth, so you could default to "create" if iA Writer isn't sending anything. Probably best to start on their support page to get routed to the right person.
@Gabz Yep. You can rename the document iA Writer creates and that will change the post title. And since it creates a draft on M.b, you can also edit the title as needed before publishing.
@manton Right ! I haven't used iA in a while so I kinda feel like I need to re-learn it a little bit, especially on the Mac
@manton thanks for that info. I'll file an issue with the IndieKit and see about defaulting to create.
They responded on Twitter, so ideally I'll get this sorted on my end, as it will be harder for them to update. Thanks!
@Gabz Is there a way to have iA Writer automatically add a category/tag to drafts it sends to micro.blog?
@manton fixed it on my end with an update to IndieKit blog.bmannconsulting.com/so-if-all...
Yay! Micropub all the things, IndieAuth all the things!
