After a week waiting for review, Wavelength 2.0 for iOS was rejected because Apple couldn’t sign in to test it. Sigh. I include a special account for app review in the instructions, but sometimes they miss it. Waste of a week.
@manton Any tips for ATProto App Store review?
If I offer “bluesky” signup, does that means they requre Sign in with Apple also?
@woody.fm I haven’t run into that myself, but technically yes. See section 4.8 of the App Sore guidelines. Because Bluesky isn’t listed, it might end up coming down to an individual reviewer’s judgement, for better or worse.
@manton Yeah, that’s kinda what I figured. Little concerning because it’s not possible without standing up a parallel identity stack.
@woody.fm Yeah, it’s an annoying Apple policy. In the notes for app review, I would put something about how the app is designed for Bluesky and so other auth methods don’t make sense. Good luck.
