Wrapped up the next iOS update for M.b today and shipped it off to Apple for approval. Last time it took a week to go through a few rounds of rejections, so hopefully this one is quicker. Lots of little UI tweaks in this update… I’ll post the details when it’s live.

@manton It seems the new update can be downloaded! Thank you for this! I like the Micro.Blog platform and I have been thinking that as soon as my website hosting expires, I will move to Micro.Blog.

@manton Looks great! One feature idea for the web view (and I suppose it would impact apps too) would be to have a way to distinguish published posts vs draft posts. I have a post saved as a draft from the fall that takes a fair bit of digging to get back to. Otherwise, still loving the simplicity of Mico.blog, keep up the great work!

• Noticed the addition of “Posts” in the menu: 🤔 (maybe should say “Your Posts” or be indented/nested under Timeline. Feels logically out of order at the bottom of the nav)
• Agree about the earlier draft posts comment
• Would love to collapse the nav menu and have more room for content; 💭 even a minimized nav menu which steals a bit from Discover and uses emojis instead of the full text labels

The simplicity and straightforward nature of the MB iOS app keeps it as my go-to on my Mini. The tweaks in this update continue to make that feel as if it was a great choice. Always appreciative. Thanks 🙏🏾

@manton Rock solid update to the app. The app has always been an excellent companion to the site, now it's even more so.

In fact the only real complaint I have about this app is how the pop over is accidentally triggered when you scroll. What would be better is if there was possibly a larger delay in triggering the popover after scrolling stops maybe?

The other part is adding new content to the timeline could be added automatically when you get to the bottom (rather than having to press another button when you get to the end).

@kaa Isn’t that button a feature, not a bug? Automatic pagination is a design pattern designed to capture our attention and never let go!

@manton Please take a look at fixing this. I constantly trigger this while scrolling.
