I’ve never had a coherent answer when asked how big Micro.blog is, so I sometimes stumble and misspeak. The total number of users is inflated with inactive users and spam accounts. Active users are different for weekly, monthly, longer. I care most about paid subscriptions and whether we’re growing.

@manton why even try to answer? It doesn’t seem like a meaningful thing for folks to need to know.

@manton all I would care about is business sustainability. Although of course we are not locked in so we can move. But MB has a lot of features that are not easy to find elsewhere even though our data is free
