say, @manton .. how do we go about tagging our images as photos so they show up in the photo “discover” gig?

@sergio\_101 There's no need to tag photos. The photos section is kind of an alternate version of Discover, which is hand-curated. Not everything shows up there yet, but the goal is to eventually include many more photos.
@prologic Posts for Discover are highlighted by me and @macgenie. The goal is for it to be a nice snapshot into what is being posted to Micro.blog, but without spam or other inappropriate posts. Jean has written more about it here.
@manton @prologic I really sense that human feel when browsing the Discover feed and it’s definitely the way to go for micro.blog! But as someone from a different timezone I quite often get the feeling that curating takes place during U.S. office hours. Which makes sense (you guys have to sleep!) but it sometimes feels as if micro.blog is dormant as well. I suggested before that it would be great if users were able to recommend posts from their timeline to the curators of micro.blog. The Discover feed just screams for some crowd sourcing! Which would make that human feel only stronger, imho...
@ArnoldHoogerwerf i’ve put my hand up already and mentioned this to @manton @macgenie about joining the community management team as I’m from Australia so I can cover this time zone +10 GMT I think they’re just a bit busy at the moment to organize around the globe community managers 😁
@manton got it. makes sense. Now, I just have to figure out how to post pictures so that they're not tiny. Thanks!
@prologic @ArnoldHoogerwerf @macgenie Thanks! We need to work on some better tools for other curators to use. I hope to prioritize this after the new year.
