Fixed an issue this morning that should make a dramatic improvement to how fast a post shows up in the timeline from a Micro.blog-hosted blog.

@manton Awesome news. The delay has always left a bad taste in my mouth. I got over it -- BUT I suspect it means a lot more to new users, used to instant publishing from other networks.

@manton Didn't know we can post to this time line from microblog hosted blog site. Am i getting something wrong here?

@sumudu By default all posts go to the timeline, whether they are hosted on Micro.blog or elsewhere. This just makes it faster.

@manton Ok. What's the difference then between people with microblog hosted sites and self hosted sites in terms of product & service offered here?

@sumudu Most features are the same. We think Micro.blog hosting is easier to use and we can add new features there (like we did recently with podcasting support) without having to wait for WordPress or other blogs to improve. Choice is good and it's up to what blogging software someone is comfortable using.

@zorn Thanks, it has annoyed me too. There are a few layers to unravel with posting and it wasn't clear to me at first why things weren't fast enough.

@manton Awesome! This wasn’t a major issue but noticeable. I’ll test it out later.

@manton I just tested this and it is a noticeable difference, especially in the post editor. Bravo!
