@stroughtonsmith I wonder if they’ll need to tune Apple Intelligence to push more and more tasks to the private cloud, once it’s scaled out. Feels like the local models will always be too limited for some things.
@manton I hope the extra year gives them time to figure out how to slim the models down with a ton of pre-training or something so they can have 'something' that runs all the way down to the Watch and TV. This whole release feels like the quickest thing they could hack together for a hardware lineup that was not prepared for it

I gave Siri knowledge a try on three different images, and it came back with Weimeraner, Great Dane, and “Dog”. So… the last one was correct??
Meanwhile chat gpt got very close with lab mix, possibly with Mastiff or Great Dane.
His DNA came back 50% Lab, 42% APBT, and 8% Am Staff.
@stroughtonsmith Interesting! I usually use Google Lens for that. I guess it's an old habit since Google Lens existed before the current LLM craze. Can you try this image on Google Lens and see if it's accurate?
