Saturday morning contribution for the Pacific Wave Appreciation Society. According to Tide Guide, it’s 4 ft. swells, wind 12 mph from the NE, tide going out, about halfway between low and high. That rock is the usual destination of my beach walks. I named it Starfish Rock.

BTW why does the preview of the video on the Mb timeline look bigger and then get smaller when you start playing? Also, the quality of the video degrades significantly after you hit play compared to the thumbnail before you hit play.

@pratik Good question…for @manton! I think the video upload also uploads a frame from the video that is larger to serve as a preview.

@jean I notice that in my Uploads - the video and a frame from the video. Interestingly in Gluon the size of the video stays the same as in the timeline, so I don’t know what @vincent is doing?

@crossingthethreshold, to be fair, I saw this discrepancy on the web. I don't upload videos but the UX of seeing @jean's beautiful video thumbnail diminish in size and quality was "over promise under deliver"
