We’re getting some great feedback about the new version of Sunlit. There will be a minor update next week to improve a few things, but overall very happy with this release. Check it out after you’ve ordered all the new iPads, iMacs, and Airpods this week!

@manton So I'm sure this has come up, but my personnal biggest beef with Sunlit has been that posting photos from the official app (and adding some simple filters) is actually pretty easy. Are you thinking of at least bringing that parity functionality between the two apps together?

@kaa Yes, a big part of this update was making posting more consistent with Micro.blog. Filters are up next to revisit.

@manton I hadn’t noticed the new profile view in the beta, but it’s great!

A couple of strange little things about it, though:

1. It always seems to show the last photo in a post with multiple photos; seems like the first photo would make more sense?
2. When you tap a photo and get the overlay view with photo, post URL, and name/handle/avatar, the post URL doesn’t seem to be clickable. In Discover, which appears to use the same overlay view, the post URL has been, and still is, clickable.
3. There appears to be a giant gap in photos in my profile view, stopping on 3-16 before resuming all the way back on 2-20, and I posted many photo-posts in that period (including two on 3-13).
