Thanks to the detailed instructions provided by @manton and @jean I just enabled my custom domain for this microblog. I will now be discoverable for Mastodon users under @holger@microblog.holgerfrohloff.de 🎉 and I followed my first Mastodon user @fontwerk@typo.social
@holgerfrohloff even though clicking on my new mastodon-compatible username leads to a "user not found" page. Let's wait a bit. Hopefully this will clear itself up in a few hours or so.
@holgerfrohloff What kind of error? Clicking that link is working for me. Tried several times and no problems.
@manton ah thank you. I guess this was a caching issue for me. I tried with a different browser and other clients and now everything is fine. ❤
