@manton In making a new site, I’ve noticed something. My older site with 3000ish post has for years been pretty slow at registering a post. The new site with 200 posts is almost instant…is there any way that the older site can be made to update faster?
@kaa Can you explain more about which part is slow? Clicking post until seeing it on your blog? Want to make sure I understand.
@manton Sure, so when I poat to my large site, the post is registered in my posts page, but not necessarily in my stream and definitely not ok my site. Eventually it makes it way there, but honestly that could be several minutea. meanwhile on the smaller site, the post gets published everywhere seemingly instantly.
@kaa Some of this is on us to improve, but one thing I'm noticing on your account is that you have two feeds configured for www.kaa.bz in Account → Edit Sources. This will actually create some problems for the timeline and cross-posting. If you remove the extra category feed, you should see posts show up in the timeline much, much faster.
