I just discovered the micro.blog Mac app yesterday… this entire time I thought it was web only.

@jmanes Oh dear. That is an onboarding fail for us. You just made me notice that it’s not mentioned on Welcome to Micro.blog. It would be helpful to give an orientation to what is different between the apps and the web. And then there’s @gluon, developed by @vincent.

@jmanes there is a neat feature I discovered recently with the app. You can import your old Instagram posts from their data export feature. It felt really good to do that. Also, I just broke down and bought MarsEdit for half off. Some super cool features there, like previewing posts within your existing theme.
