I’m getting really nerdy with custom widgets on iOS 14, I’m using WidgetPack, Scriptable, WidgetSmith, and am about to dive into MFC Deck. What are your favourite widgets and how did you create them?

@rosemaryorchard I “found" Scriptable last week and I am bursting to get all my ideas done. So far, I've built one for the Helsinki city shared bike scheme and one to show me random Chinese language grammar point random Chinese language grammar point. Next I am going to build up a widget to list departures for the closest bus stop

@rosemaryorchard My favourite widget (by far) is the Siri Suggestions widget. It's crazy how often it shows just the right app at the right moment.

My second favourite is the Highlighted random highlight for inspiration ;)

@jeroensangers Siri Suggestions has been working so well for me too! I'll have to look into the highlights...

@rosemaryorchard My favorite by far is Drafts. Using it to open up my template every day that I use for radio broadcasts. I uste it to quickly add items to a grocery list and to quickly tweet something out without opening Twitter (thanks to Tim Nahumck for sharing that one).

@jeroensangers @rosemaryorchard I’ve seen people who’ve used multiple Siri suggestions widgets on a single Home Screen. They’re smart enough to not show the same app twice, creating a dynamic Home Screen.
